The Raptors should definitely sign him to a full contract!!!

He is amazing!!!!! He's not a ball hog and he didn't get carry away too, he is really steady and calm.

He should have more than 3 assists if the other Raptors were able to sink open shots.

Good job Alston!!

p.s. What is the NBA record of most points score in a game by a 10 day contract player?

Hate to say it, but it's only one game. He looks awesome so far, though. Quite impressive. Good court vision, I have to say, and made some good passes. That is just amazing because this was his first game with this team. Imagine how much better he would be when he understands the system.

He finished the game with a team-high 17 points to go along with four assists five rebounds and three steals. He did commit five turnovers, but that may be expected from a new, up-tempo ball-handler still adjusting to his teammates and their style of play.

Alston is best known as a playground legend out of Queens, New York who honed his skills on the hallowed blacktop of Rucker Park in Harlem. Perhaps his best trait aside from his crossover dribble is the smile and the positive outlook he appears to bring to the team.

Alston could be just what the doctor ordered right now as an optimistic outsider, coming with a new perspective can only help.

Well, Alston is the true point guard, I didn't expect such a good out come from him, when I think of street ballers in the NBA, I think of flashy players with poor defense and undevelop jump shots, but Alston is totally different from my sterotyping, he plays good defense, he is not trying to be fancy, and certainly his jump shots are great. And most importantly his decision making is excellent.

I agree that Alston is a great player but I dissagree that he's a good defender. It seems sometimes he just gives up on defence like Carter does. But in the other hand he gets steals.
