Change the starting line up

who else thinks the raps should just completely change the starting line up?

i mean, the season is obviously over and theres nothing to lose

imo... this should be the starting line up

Rafer Alston - G - Hes amazing from the 1 game i seen him play and this will give him a lot of experience
Alvin Williams - SG - he really needs a break.. i would start hunter but hes even worse than williams
Chris Jeffries - SF - he needs to develop, better now than next season and itll help his knees work themself back 2 shape imo
Art Long - PF - hes really only had 1 season of experiencing real minutes.(15, at that).... even though i think theyll end up waiving him by the end of the season a long with nate huffman
Jelani Mccoy - C - He plays much better when he starts. and i dont think davis will mind coming off the bench.

This leaves J. williams, davis, mo-pete and hunter to come off the bench.

In the past 10 games the raps have started off good and then faded.. this way they wont fade by the end of the half... from fatigue and itll give good experience to the new players. What can you possible lose by doing this anyways?

On a different note. I really feel Mamadou N'daiye has a lot of talent. When is he expected to come back? I feel bad for this guy... he just cant stay away from injuries. He is a starting center IMO. He definetely got screwed by injuries.... he was actually a first round pick AND he is a superb free throw shooter which is hard to come by @ a center spot...

Another raptor you have to feel bad for is Michael Bradley, he was just starting to heat up and got injured... I see potential in him.

I agree. I don't like McCoy, though. Too many times I've watch him have stupid turnovers, either from traveling, or just silly fouls. At first I thought he was at least decent, but now I think he just plain sucks. He also gets in foul trouble everytime he starts to heat up. You can easily replace this guy with any other center, IMO. Raptors should get rid of him next season for someone better. He is just too clumsy.

Finally, some one who apprieciates N'Diaye's talent!!! He is a great player, without all those injuries, he is definitely starting for the Raptors.

If the Raptors were not trying to tank the season, here is the line up that I want them to use. (Assume everyone is healthy, well, try to...I know it's hard to think this way right now...)

Alston
A.W.
Vince
JYD
A.D.

This line up is very similar to the Raptors's line up when they played against the Knicks and Phili in the playoff that year, the best basketball this franchise ever play. Childs was pg and Oak was pf that time. But if you put Alston in there, he is much more steady and a way better distributor than Hunter. JYD is a energetic forward who could easily grab a double double any given night.
And then if you take at look at who's coming off the bench:
Mo-Pete, Murray, that's two career 15 ppg scroing as a sixth man!
then you have McCoy, N'Diaye, Bradley, Huffman, four centers who is either a good rebounder or possessed great offensive skills (N'Diaye, not McCoy)
Then, you have Jeffries, Hunter with more energy off the bench, so you are looking at a team with SUPERB depth!!

OH MAN, and I totally forgot about Voshon Lenard!!!! another 15ppg swing man off the bench.

Who say Kings is the deepest team in the league??

Alston/Hunter
A.W/Mo-Pete/Lenard
Vince/Murray
JYD/Bradley/Long
A.D./McCoy/N'Diaye/Huffman/Montross

look at the depth!!!!!!!!

Right now, Mo-Pete can start in place of Vince, and they will just have to play till everyone is healthy. And if they tank the season and get a top three pick, they could get LeBron, Darko, or Anthony, and that would make this team scary if , that's a BIG if, the team is injury free.

Till Vince Carter comes back

I think that Rafer Alston is a better point Guard then Bogey because he can do so great passes and he can control the temple of a game.
