Well, it's summer my fellow Canadians and something tells me that most of you are probably hitting the concrete for some serious basketball! So far this summer I haven't played as much as I was playing last year but my game has certainly improved... no more missed dunks anyways.

My outdoor shoes of choice this summer are the Converse Icon Warriors. I don't usually like such high cut shoes but they provide amazing stability on the pavement and are much lighter than they appear to be. There isn't a lot of cushion in the front sole but there is immsense comfort in the back.

I also picked up a pair of retroed, low-cut Jordan 13s in yellow/white/black. I'm loving these shoes but will probably reserve them for indoor/gym duty. Last weekend I grabbed some Raptor colorway VC IVs but I'm enjoying the Icon Warriors so much I'm not sure when I'll wear them.

I won't be playing basketball much this summer.. I'll actually be playing more baseball this summer, being in two different leagues.. I remember spending all my money when I was younger on basketball gear though.. can't do that anymore, time to save for university..

I prefer baseball. I love baseball more than life itself, but at a certain age it becomes very difficult in this country to find competitive leagues to play in. It's always easy to find basketball leagues to join.
