Any list that has Atlanta and New Orleans in the top 10 I can't respect. I've watched games in those arenas, not so happening. But this guy seems to rank more on dancing girls and cupholders than anything else, so what can you expect, really? The teams hungry for fans will have the best gimmicks in the league, and so they make this guy happy.

This is a few months old, he's not just judging it on the atmosphere he's on a ton of different factors including ticket price among other things. He's ranking how it was for him, since he went to games in all 30 arenas.

I love everything about the ACC and it is relatively cheap to go to basketball game with tix as low as 10.50

actually we must be doing something right if we are tied with NYC which probably according to most people the best place to watch basketball

Well, he obviously isn't a basketball fan then. Here are somethings he marked on:
- Ticket price (gonna be cheaper in a bad arena cause no one wants the tickets)
- Entertainment (gonna have more for a bad team to try to draw people in for more than basketball)
- Parking (most teams have no control over this. It's a whole lot easier for some teams to get good land than others)
- Concessions (alright, this is a sign of a well run building, true, but still not something a real basketball fan is looking for)
- Atmosphere/Fans (finally, a worthwhile catergory)

I don't know how well this holds up, 7 of the top ten arenas housed teams who made the playoffs last season.

This article seems to be about what arena provides the best value for your buck, rather than best arena overall
The food at the ACC is horrible and the beer is watered down and expensive, so I'm sure we lost mad points for that
