I think it's a shame Mashburn is remembered as being injury prone rather than the great player he was with that sweet fade-away jumper. Injuries curtailed his chance of being an all-time great, but you can't take away the player he was before that.

I think alot of people forget that, and the match-up nightmare he proved to be.

He certainly was a great player but his pro-longed injuries really made it hard to predict when he'd be in the line up, or be effective. Thats not a quality thats easy to build around.
