They are my favourite team but I wish the Leafaholics in Toronto would take a cue from Montreal and stop going to the games until that franchise got it's act together. 40-year olds help you win Stanley cups--they don't win them for you.

I don't really like hockey much anymore, and that was pre-lockout.

However, I think the lockout was somewhat worthwile..... a new framework was accomplished. The new framework will make it much fairer for all teams, and if some teams fail in this environment just let them go. Under the old framework, not enough teams could reasonably compete from year to year.

Unlike the 1994 baseball strike which left me endlessly bitter. I'd rather a season not start, then taunt you with 114 games, and then shut down. And nothing tangible was accomplished from cancelling the baseball season.
