Re: OT: Knicks Sign Jerome James

The Knicks needed another chronically lazy player. He averages almost as many fouls per minute as Hoffa, and less rebounds--and he's been in the NBA for five years.

Re: OT: Knicks Sign Jerome James

Wow a 5 year contract for him. This guy doesn't even perform in his contract year, only in the playoffs of his contract year.
Good work Zeke!

Re: OT: Knicks Sign Jerome James

So they traded Nazr, who went on to win a championship, and they got Jerome James for $30M, David Lee, and the last pick of the first round next year?

People say the Raptors franchise is on shaky ground.

The general public seemingly is unable to piece together that the equation player/former player = preparation to be qualified judge of talent/upper management is a non-sequitur...

You can see Thomas's stats w/ the Pistons speak for themselves (albeit on a very, very good team w/ the likes of Joe Dumars, Vinnie Johnson, Bill Laimbeer, etc.) - however, the fact that he's been able to secure another GM position followin' his less-than-stellar performance in the same role w/ the Toronto franchise begs the question why? His career as a coach also merits scrutiny owin' to subpar numbers... Dumars is the exception to the rule whereas more often than not, promotin' a former player to executive status tends to be suspect - methinks that Dolan fell for Thomas's charm and erred mentally by addin' apples and oranges (playin' career and GM wherewithal) in a personally palatable option...

Thomas's post-playin' career is checkered at best: a hackneyed dilettante as GM is the best he should hope for as his lastin' public image...

Re: OT: Knicks Sign Jerome James

Zeke is hopeless.
He has proven himself unworthy to be a GM in this league.

I think the Raps had a lot of luck. he didn't stuck us with such contractes, right?

And his draft picks were pretty good.
He could have done better, of course, but he didn't have any major bustes.

The combination of Zeke and the big apple is devastaiting. Donald Trump has to get up and say to Zeke: "You're fired!"
