Dirk bails on Nash
Seems like Dirk decided to stay in Hamberg and continue consuming fresh Alpine Ale from his home brewery instead of honouring his agreement to Nash to participate in Fridays Charity Game
But Joe Johnson is coming and I heard that Iggy could be there too.
West:
Joe Johnson
Shawn Marion
Eduardo Najera
Steve Nash
East:
Rafer Alston
Matt Bonner
Chris Bosh
Ricky Davis
Allen Iverson

Re: Dirk bails on Nash
Bonner will bail.
Would be great to get a line-up of younger guys....something like Dorrell Wright, Travis Outlaw, etc. etc. etc.
Also, isn't Wade a buddy of Bosh's? Would be great to get him here.

Re: Dirk bails on Nash
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Dirk was never listed on any of Nash's official lists, and was only advertised on RaptorsTV, who could've had it wrong, right?
I remember the first list or two didn't have him on it so that's why I was surprised to see a few people talking about him potentially being at the show.

Re: Dirk bails on Nash
Plus his mentor went to jail recently for tax evasion. Probably something serious enough to keep him in Germany for a couple weeks more.

Well the commercial on RAPTV ran constantly stating Dirk would be there - it is very misleading because he is the reason alot of people would buy tickets.

The Dallas sports media has been following this issue for the past week. Dirk has said that he supports his mentor, Holger Geschwindner, and has decided to not play for Team Germany in the upcoming European Championships. He has also made a request with German authorities to see if off-season basketball camp would be possible from inside the German jail where Holger is being detained.
Mark Cuban is uber happy that Dirk will not be risking injury by playing in the Euro Championships... but is concerned about Dirk's handles in the shower and his ability to hold on to the soap in "crunch time".
