Toronto Raptors Vs. Maccabi Tel Aviv
on October, 16he raptors will meet the israeli team for a friendly match.
ex nba players in tel aviv's line up:
Maceo Baston (raptors)
Anthony Parker (Nets, Magic, 76ers, US U-21)
Willie Solomon (Memphis)
Kirk Penney (Miami, Bucks)
if u dont know maccabi is the euroleague champions, very strong team (not as much as last year) and the game will be fun to watch...
anyone going?

yes, they are. very famous.
the best team in europe, 3 euroleague titels in 5 years.
saruna jasikivicious who signed with the pacers was maccabi's star last couple of years.

Maccabi should play one of the local high school teams in Tdot instead. The game will be boring. There is a reason why these guys play basketball in Isreal of all places, they SUCK.

Imagine them playing Eastern Commerce, they'll blow them out, these guys don't suck, their game just suits Europe more than the nba except for Baston, and Anthony Parker is like the best american player in Europe, he should be in the nba

Israel has bad basketball, I admit, but Maccabi is a great team. You'd love to play there, believe me.
Most of them could have played in the NBA, but Maccabi offers more money, more minutes, and they are treated like kings.
