Just for the guy that said that Splitter didn´t paly well, he played extremelly well in the time he was in court, but he was in foul trouble the entire game so he played just 13 minutes.

I think Hoffa will have problems having great stats because Brazil is a very bad 5X5 team, and Hoffa isn´t exactally a C that can go fast to the ofensive end to finish a fastbreak. I will go to the practices of the Brazilian National team today and tomorrow, and will see all the 3 games, I will try take some photos to you guys see how in shape he is...

If Splitter is so much better (playing experience etc.) then why would the raptors take Hoffa with a top 10 pick 2 years earlier.

its official, if everything doesn't go wrong with Araujo, than i will be disappointed. Hoffa if you are out there, disappoint me and give me some sort of positive.

Let's be honest. Araujo had 2 years of JUCO Ball, 2 years of NCAA ball, one year of NBA ball. He's as good as he's going to get, but fans tend to hate realizing they drafted a bust over numerous better players. It's going to hurt I know, when Iggy and Josh Smith develop into all-stars.

from this point on, i've looked past about araujo's so-called potential and am just hoping he is contributable when given the time. i won't be disapponted anymore if araujo ends up being a 8/8 player on 25-30 mpg. what i would be disappointed in is how he can't adjust himself to get the minutes.

the guy is a hinderence on the court. Before the end of the 1st quarter the opposing team is in bonus because Hoffa goes Hacksaw Jim Duggan on anyone that gets into his area.

I saw 2 games of Hoffa and Splitter and in both of them Splitter outplayed him in every single aspect of the game. I really hope that Hoffa becomes a very good player, I´m brazilian like him and last year I complained a lot when the Raps didn´t play him enough, but what I´m seeing right now of him doesn´t look to promissing. I will see 3 more games until saturday and the American Cup in the end of the month, then I will have a better feel for his game. I think he will improve a lot because I really think he is having a confidence problem.

And about Splitter being better than him, well Splitter has everything to be the best brazilian of this generation by far, his defence is already stellar and is no disrespect being outplyed by him, for me even Varejão is being outplayed by him, and I´m a huge fan of Varejão.

Hoffa is a bust. Hes a crappy player, has noooo potential has no skills. At best if givent 48mpg he will provide 11ppg n 8rpg n thats if he can stand that long and stay outta foul trouble.

Now we all know no one can avg 48mpg, so just say he gets about 30mpg from the raptors next season. He doesnt have the skills needed to be a threat, when ever he gets the ball hes confused like its some next brazilain game out there not bball. Hes a bust, no point on arguing about that man.

And Granger and Green this year...instead of the "best big man available"

We all know that Iggy and Jsmooth are all well and good but how would we have completed our frontcourt this year through the draft? Drafting Bynum? Charlie V completes our frontcourt only because we already have our banger in Araujo. Was Vasquez the answer perhaps?...

We all know that Iguodala and Smith are going to end up being very good NBA players...or at least we think so at this point. But this year we got a guy that could really be just as good with the 16th pick and have completed our frontcourt (if things work out as planned). ****, I'm finally getting tired of talking about this and I'm just praying to the basketball gods that Hoffa/Bosh/Pape/Charlie can become a great frontcourt team.

For ****'s sake we haven't even been watching the guy. Yes he's been unimpressive but he's still had solid games and his team is undefeated so far.

Just like Pape I think that Hoffa is a guy that will thrive with good players around him that support him (and a coach helps as well). Is that our team? We'll have to wait and see.

And Robert Swift has done SO much to prove that he's going to be a better player than Hoffa in the end. Give me a break.

Hoffa is getting smoked in that tourney.

I don't know that there is a lot of improvement there. I won't give up but, he is not making strides.

something is fishy there with Hoffa - there are things there that we do not know about like - <b>PERHAPS the fan booing has not pushed him to play better but that he has sunk in to a depression and does not believe in himself</b>.

I dunno - but him and Rafer are in flux
