Steve Nash charity game
Can someone please post the box score from Nash's charity game?
Edit-I heard Gooden had around 60 points, and Bosh had 20 Did he get that much better than Bosh

Should be on right now on Raptors TV. If not I think it's supposed to be on late tonight and again later this week.

Re: Steve Nash charity game
Game synopsis:
Gooden had 56pts game high
Bosh 21pts (had a sick off the glass dunk )
Nash 29pts 29assists (had play of the game when he bounced the ball over Boshs head and layed it in.)
Marion had 45pts or something.
Pargo was just doing street moves and threes
Iggy missed like 10 dunks

Re: Steve Nash charity game
Haha anyone else catch the game on Sportsnet last nite??
At half time they were interviewing Bonner, and for all you doubters, he IS as awkward as he looks!
The sideline reporter was asking him a question about the lack of defense in the game..and he reponded. "Actually there is ALOT of defense...hahaha just kidding!". And clearly no one found it funny...
BUt anyways...the actual game was typical charity game. Lotsa dunks..the usual. Charlie V showed some ncie game...

Re: Steve Nash charity game
gooden's 50+ points were unimpressive 3ft jumpshots that were totally uncontested.
i was impressed by CV31 ... he's got some passing skills for a big man ! He is definitely not playing the 5 spot .. maybe the 3 but mostly 4. I wonder if this will force Bosh out of position at the 5.
pargo showed some nice streetball skills. i wish he applied those skills and used it to see the floor and make good passes. a good fa to consider.

he is certainly not the answer for C but I like him and bosh playing together in the front court against alot of the eastern teams w/out true centers.

Re: Steve Nash charity game
I'm glad I didn't make the trip to see the event considering the final player turnout and the overall lameness of the game itself. There were some nice spots, like Charlie's off the backboard to himself one hander, Bosh's wicked dunk and follow-up shimmy, Nash's bounce to himself for the lay-in over C4, Andre 3000 missing more dunks than Chris Anderson with a migrane, and Matt Bonner's courtside interview. But overall the game was totally non-competitive and that's one of the reasons I don't really like watching And1 or the EBC league.

Not possible? He averaged 11 and a half against NBA defense. You don't think he can get 29 in 48 minutes of play when nobody plays any defense and everyone sho | |
