Unless there is a deal on the table to move <b>Bonner</b> <b>Rafer</b> and one of the <b>williams'</b> babs needs to sign <b>Cook</b> and give the remaining MLE to <b>Bonner</b>.

It is not the ideal solution but with limited cap wiggle room - plus with <b>Duhon/Roko</b> off the table it is the smart thing to do. We all know you & Mitch want to punt <b>Rafer</b> (and frankly we don't blame you) and you still may be able to at the deadline - but for the love of all things good do not sign T.Lue or T.Best. because it would mean no more <b>Bonner</b> and that would be a short term fix for a long term mistake.

You did good this summer - at this point there are no good options so do the right thing babs sign cook and work on bonner camp is in 5 weeks. Evalute Hoffa, CV31, Jose and Joey G and go from there - chance are you will have 1 or 2 lottery picks this season any how.

Signing Bonner and Cook is the fall back position. No need to rush it, what upside is there? It's not like other teams are going to sign them away from us. For all we know Babcock's in serious trade talks that could significantly improve the club, and he needs the MLE and/or roster spots available for flexiblity.

Bonner needs to be signed first. Otherwise it's not all that difficult for another team to sign him to an offer sheet that we can't match with the remainder of our MLE. With most of our MLE intact (I think) we can scare most teams off from tying up their free agent cash on Bonner with an offer we will simply match (after waiting the full week). I agree that Cook is a fine way to go for our third point guard but it's not quite that easy unless you're signing him without using the MLE.
