-He said he's satisfied with the three aditions to the team- (Charlie, Joey, Jose) and expect them to make some impace.

-Said Charlie is larry bird type of player- verastile, can play 3,4,,5 positions, and he makes his teammates better.

-his knee is pretty serious
-working hard on rehab but only on-court tests will really assess the situation
-will probably not know his condition until training camp
-prepared to not have alvin for this season and that having him on the team would be a bonus

re: omar cook
-talking to another couple of free agents first, hoping to get them more cheaply than what they're demanding

re: dajuan wagner
-hard to gauge where he is now based on his multiple health issues
-not on his mind but still on the raptors radar (much like jay williams)

re: roko ukic situation
-would never make a promise to draftees about picking them at a certain pick
-talked to roko many times, and feels roko is fine with how the situation ended up and is looking for roko to join the raps in the future

re: milt palacio
-with the signing of calderon, there's no room for milt (same ol', same ol').

-no team specifically.
-this team is designed based on how sam, wayne and himself want it to be.
-makes mention about san antonio and detroit's defense

-multi-talented player able to play multiple positions
-can play the small foward, power forward and center

-if so, it has to be right person but the current coaches can handle the duties
-makes note that the best big man coaches are high school coaches

re: how can good teams continue to get good players?
-has talked to michael finley, but he's not part of the youth movement the raptors are currently going through
-potential championships are always a good incentive

-less likely to make a trade now than it was before
