Artest gets his wish to play in Cleveland
CLeveland upgrades on 3,4 spot.

Re: Realistic way to move Aaron and Eric Williams
The main three in the trade would be Artest/Gooden/Peterson. We are not getting any of them. Even if given, I don't want Gooden.

Last thing we need is another power forward!

Re: Realistic way to move Aaron and Eric Williams
Indiana would likely want a Cleveland pick out of that, if not more... but good premise.

Re: Realistic way to move Aaron and Eric Williams
Not bad initial offer
throw in a pick here or there, and shift a few players around and it might work out
Toronto would get the shortend of the deal, but not by much IMO
I know that Artest wants to play in Cleveland but with the Larry Hughes signing, how would they get playing time for all those guys?????????

Re: Realistic way to move Aaron and Eric Williams
not a bad deal at all, but i duno, peterson doesnt have that great of a trade value right now, so i dont kno if the pacers would budge on this.

Re: Realistic way to move Aaron and Eric Williams
Reggie Miller was on the Dan Patrick show today and said that the Pacers GM was not down for trading Artest to a contender, furthermore he mentioned Toronto and Atlanta in the same sentence.

mmmmm....makes you wonder if something big is in the works...i wonder if rose is involved in any of these talks...to be honest, i wouldn't want to trade any of our rookies at this point, but i think the raps would shop joey if they really had to give up one...

Re: Realistic way to move Aaron and Eric Williams
I personally don't want any part of luke jackson or fred jones. Pollard I could tolerate as a throw in.
I don't anticipate that the Raptors will ever make a move towards Artest. He is the antithisis of what this franchise and the MLSE stand for. Not to mention the lack of comparable contracts

I'm not a big fan of Fred Jones or Luke Jackson.
I'd keep what we have if thats whats out there.

Re: Realistic way to move Aaron and Eric Williams
I like this deal for the Raps, Fred Jones is a slashing typer player who isnt afraid to take it to the rim, Luke Jackson is a young prospect that the Raps can add to there already young core of players and Pollard is a player we can use to plug the hole at C for this season and since his contract expiers he wont get in the way of the raps plans for 07
