You might replace Redd with Carter depending on how the next few weeks go. Jamison, Jefferson, and Webber all threaten Bosh's place. Camby injured could push him out and you can put Parker or someone else in his place.

You really never know how the coaches are going to vote. A guy like Arenas or Hamilton could miss the game, even though they are deserving (as of now), in order to get a multi-time all-star into the game (like Kidd or Carter). Happens every year.

to be honest, i really haven't enjoyed the all-star game at all since, what, j-kidd's first appearance? the game is hard to watch these days, primarily because quite a few fans get all the games on tv anyway, it's not like the asg allows you to see out-of-market players that you wouldn't otherwise get to see until the playoffs.

but whatever, i won't bring anyone down here. i'm sure chris wants the honor, having watched it for his entire life. i'll be proud of him when he gets it, too, even if the game doesn't mean much and isn't all that entertaining anymore.
