Re: Raptors @ Hawks, Jan. 3rd
Is Charlie V drunk tonight or what? He's done absolutely nothing all game, against terrible defense. He doesn't look at all into it, just lumbering aimlessly around the court. Sam should should bench him until he acts like he wants to play.

god I hate Derrick Martin now
Martin's like the bosses son who drives a porsche and takes over the company because he thinks he's a genius and then the company explodes

Re: Raptors @ Hawks, Jan. 3rd
- We're better than Atlanta, and we are unlikely to have a top-3 pick because we don't suck enough;
- Atlanta has no team concept;
- Darrick Martin thinks he's a scorer--somebody please put him in a suit, preferably one with restrained arms;
- Pachulia showed up tonight but I don't like what I see from him that often--he's out to get his--maybe it's the team environment;
- Mike James is lethal;
- So is Joey Graham;
- Props to Hoff for the hard knock on Harrington;
- Props to Team Canada for showing they aren't underdogs afterall--good hockey from them tonight;
- Jalen Rose had no inclination to pass tonight;
- How can Eric Williams be a DNP-CD player in this League?
- We miss Jose Calderon;
- Atlanta doesn't give a **** about their basketball team, so why do people say we will relocate for losing?
- Salim Stoudamire will play for five or six or more teams in his career;
- Charlie wasn't himself;
- Bosh was;
- So was Bonner;
- Is Joe Johnson a leader?

i noticed the same thing...no energy...wonder if he used it up on New Years celebrations...hope he has a chance to redeem himself tomorrow vs. Orlando...he's lucky that Bonner fouled out, or he might not have touched the court the rest of tonight...
overall, not our best defensive game, but nice to get another road win...
mike james showing he rarely takes nights off
CB4 showing that he's a warrior
Bonner showing some grit and some versitility tonight...basically doing what the coach is preaching...
Rose, showing he still has veteran smarts and some nice low post moves...
CV3, took tonight off, not an impressive exclamation mark to December rookie of the month honors...
MoP, did the little things well tonight, put up decent numbers, but his pressence was on the floor
D Martin, thx for the key points down the stretch...nice interview with Norma
E-Wil, limited minutes, good to see a smile on his and teamates faces
Hoffa, not bad, made his pressence felt, he's been as consistant as we've seen him...gotta commend him for standing his ground to relatively bigger named players...

Re: Raptors @ Hawks, Jan. 3rd
regardless of the tough game from Charlie.
huge free throws and charge.
getting these wins and the chemistry thats developed on the team is huge down the road. mike james is great and you can see that he and bosh love playing together. that trade really should get a lot of credit.
i'd say that trade, charlie and the jose signing make babcock a success. if he had drafted iggy, we'd be calling him exec of the year.

Re: Raptors @ Hawks, Jan. 3rd
Great game: Raptors demonstrated tremendous energy and explosiveness. Was a brilliant final quarter and I had a lot of fun watching it. The guys look like they are having a lot of fun out there as well.
Atlanta: wow. No energy in the building and it was as though the Hawks never actually expected to win and didn't bother showing up after the third quarter.

Re: Raptors @ Hawks, Jan. 3rd
Wow, the Raptors are only 4.5 games out of the playoffs now.
That's quite unbelievable considering the November they had.

so you feel comfortable with Derrick freaking Martin taking jumpers and 3's down the stretch instead of Bosh getting touches?

Re: Raptors @ Hawks, Jan. 3rd
In the last few games, does anyone else see the raptors just turning it on somehow like the good teams do? I swear they play like that just to turn it around in the fourth. They better stop playing from behind though cause against good teams theres not going to be a second chance.
Anyhow props to the raptors for their first 3 game win streak and for having a winning percentage of 100 in 2006. Great game
Did anyone else hear what they said about Bosh, how he is a better player than JO? I duno about that but he will be.
