I just like the guy. He get another season (or at least a significant portion) to show what he can do. Bosh said "Sam's leaking into us", so I'll take his word that Sam is preaching the right things. The rotations won't be such a big deal if the roster improves as I expect.

I think the conflict between player development and winning is natural. It's not his job to lose games for the sake of getting young players minutes. It might seem converse to what we are planning but it is something we need to expect.

So far I think Sam has been very fair with Jose, Joey, and Charlie. Not so much with Hoff but that's another story. And recently Sow's been getting minutes.

It's not like there aren't veterans on our team who are being benched.

what kind of perspective are you talking about exactly? you mean the kind where you suggest trading cv and graham for dwight howard (oh but dont include den. 1st, thats too much LOL)? or how cv and graham can easily combine for 36pts/17rbds? or do u mean, when you argue about the possibility of darko having more potential than d. howard....that kind of perspective??? give me a break...i'll try to be civil here, but youre seriously the last person who should be talking about having an unclear "perspective" of the nba...

i dont get this "he scored 60pts against the mavs in 3 quarters" argument...yeah, kobe did do that, and yeah, its possible he could have went for 80 against the mavs, but so what? i guess just because he went for 60 in 3 against the defensive juggernaut of the mavs, its just an everyday event now that kobe registers the 2nd highest pt total ever in NBA History against us, right???

fact of the matter is, when someone goes for 81 against u, yes, it is in fact a big deal, especially, in light of mitchell's highly questionable in game adjustment against how to stop kobe during the game..

Mitchell sucks, but so does the Raptors roster.

Sure the coach deserves blame, but so do the players.

I wouldn't be against firing him (I don't think now's the right time), but I don't think there's anyone better waiting in the wings.
