If the Raptors somehow created significant caproom this year....
...would you be in favour of approaching Peja Stojakovic with that free cash?
He would be used to the cold. We have a ton of Serbs here who love their ball. Ever been to a Raps game when Vlade (and Peja) played? They go nuts.
If they do somehow trade Jalen for Penny is this something you would consider should Peja opt-out this summer?
If not, why? Is he on the downside for your money? What contract would you feel is reasonable, would get the job done?

Is Peja that much better then Jalen? It seems like kind of a lateral move to me.

If he is healthy, I think he is. But I am just throwing it out there.

Re: If the Raptors somehow created significant caproom this year....
His shooting percentages have gotten worse, and he can't defend well, so I wouldn't be interested in him unless he came cheap. And he won't since he is already rumoured to be going to the Bulls at
season-end. I think something about having family there and the Bulls having cap space to sign him.
Which doesn't make sense to me. Why do they need another SF? They need low-post scoring.

Peja is a fairweather player who sucks in the playoffs. No thanks.

So since wehaven't made the playoffs in the last three years, we are just going to give up and sign someone who can't find the basket in the post-season?
Makes a hell of a lot of sense to me.

He said... Peja sucks in the playoffs, no thanks..... What the hell, the Raptors can't even make the playoffs and he's complaining how Peja sucks in the playoffs. Makes no sense to me.
For now, you should be happy just to make the playoffs

You're a Clippers fan, so I'm sure you've heard of the term rebuilding. I don't think I need to go any further than that.

Adding Peja to this team along with our draft picks would probably be enough to make us an 8th seed in the East.

Re: If the Raptors somehow created significant caproom this year....
i could have sworn i posted this already, but whatever...
i agree with speedy, he's is extremely soft, with a capital s...the long term plan is to be able to compete in the playoffs...this guy, imo, would definetely hamper and not help our chances there...i much rather use that caproom on someone else...
