Wink Hoping for more games like the clipper loss...Future looks bright

Yesterdays game (OT loss to Clippers) was perfect for 2 reasons:

(1) I think they got every victory out of the game short of the win.
-Rookies played great
-Bosh and CV played well together
-Sow showed progress
-Game was competative and entertaining (35 lead changes)

(2) But I am glad they did not get the win - I would like them get them to get that one more low draft pick. A dynamic NCAA standout like Morrison/Lamarcus/Gay/Carney + a decent off season trade (since the FA's are not so good). Then let the winning start next year.

kinda sic I know...

it sucks that pape sow is getting the raw deal from the officiating...2 fouls that were called on him that could have easily been a charge, and he was also called for a foul where Kaman just missed the shot completely

^^ it happens, but sow will get time to develop, and sooner or later he will get the benefit of the doubt.

We should have won yesterday. Winning does a lot for a team, and those young guys could use it. I'm getting tired of hoping for losses right now. We'll most likely get a top 10 pick, but winning helps the morale of the team and if this team continues to show progress in the win column the rest of the season, it'll be much more attractive to free agents and whoever is thinking of taking the role of our GM/President.

Every win for the Clipps is good because it drops the pick the Nets own, too.

Want the Raptors to lose for the sake of a higher draft pick?! Despicable
