I see that there still some bitter people around here.

Dwayne Wade didn't beat Vince Carter. Heat beat the Nets. Look at his playoffs stats, he did all he could for his team but one man can't do it alone. Isn't that what most say about Kobe when he loses, but when its vince he is not a winner? bull ****. The fact is Miami are a better basketball team than the Nets and have a much deeper bench.

Carter playoffs stats, 29.6/7/5.3/46% shooting. Now what?

^^ exactly , its a team game . its not wade beating carter. youre forgetting the 8 other guys on the floor. its 5v5. the other 8 guys DO have a big impact on the outcome of the game

. its the TEAM and not individual who wins games. would mj have all those rings without his great cast? would shaq have won rings without a supercoach and superstud kobe? could duncan have done it without manu and parker , or robinson and avery his first championship run? hell no . you need a good team around you to go somewhere. dwade had a better all aroudn team around him than carter. dont make this a carter bashing thing, its just silly.

Exactly, but most people fail to realize its a team game. So Bosh isnt a winner either? No, his supproting cast still not helping him to reach the playoffs. Now i just hope Miami loses to Detroit in the next round for the 2nd time in a row and lets hear about how Wade is a winner since that would be his second chance with Miami to beat them but sill cant deliver.

Using those logics, simply applys to each superstar player who didnt reach the playoffs with his team or lost a playoffs series.

A team is made up of individuals, you need a bunch of individuals who are going to gel and have a winners mentality to make up a winning team. You can have all the scorers and big name players you want, but unless they are winners you are going to end up with the Knicks.

If I were Thorn, I'd be looking moreso into what to do with Kidd rather than Carter and/or Jefferson. Kidd has definitely lost a step or two, so would the "win now" mindset be healthy for the Nets' future? Or trade Kidd now while he still has good value (in relation to that contract) and look to build around the young'ins in Carter/Jefferson/Krstic.

Nets weren't gonna beat Miami no matter how you look at it. Everyone knows their weak frontcourt and lack of bench will be getting in their way during the playoffs. It was bound to happen and against Miami they finally got exposed.

Carter is a winner his whole career period. Lets not forget, Nets at least made an improvements in this years playoffs. They advanced to the next round and Carter was doing his part during these playoffs games.

I don't why you guys still hate him till this day. Guy moved on already.

Thats why i think most of these posts here are spoken out of bitterness. Blaming Carter while not looking at the whole picture and some facts.
