Question Bargnani another Nickoloz Tskitishvili ????

If colangelo picks bargnani i would still be happy, but i got some doubts thou, cos Benetton produced guys like Nickoloz Tskitishvili and Bostjan Nachbar <<----(remember him) houston's 15th overall pick on 2002. Also wats up with colangelo and Benetton products, when Tskitishvili was in minnesota and bc was still the gm of the suns, he acquired him via trade, its pretty obvious that nickoloz is a pure bust, the guy played only 2 minutes during these playoffs.

Re: Bargnani another Nickoloz Tskitishvili ????

Nachbar - the guy couldn't shoot...everyone knew that even before the draft. At that time the 'euro picks' were the thing to do.

Tskitishvili - He never put up number like bargnani...he didn't even get to play all that much...go look at Bargnani's number and the minutes he gets...he simply produces...

surprised it took so long to come up with that comparison, how about aldridge reminds people of michael olowakandi, tyrus thomas the next stromile swift and adam morrison the next mike miller. point is you can always come up with some kind of comparison to make your point either way. the clips i have seen of bargnani have been very impressive, he is a great shooter from long range and can put the ball on the floor. like i've said before, the bulls will be glad to take him off your hands if you dont want him.

Also remember that the raptors 2nd round pick (58th Overall) last year Uros Slokar also plays for Benetton.

Re: Bargnani another Nickoloz Tskitishvili ????

Colangelo addressed this today. Bargnani's experience/importance with Benetton overshadows the hell out of Skita's.

Yup, from what I recall Skita was a bench scrub on their roster and taken mostly on potential.

Re: Bargnani another Nickoloz Tskitishvili ????

refer here: http://basketballboards.net/forum/sh...=272926&page=3

i make a post about a quarter of the page down comparing Bargnani, Gasol, and Skita's numbers in their final years playing for their Euroleague teams...

strictly looking at the numbers alone, Bargnani is far from a Skita....
