Chris Bosh kicked out Vince Carter?
I did not have any document to support, I have a reasonable doubt for over 1 years. I think Bosh is more selfish than the people think. He wants to be a team leader. Do you think Chris Bosh is one of the factors that Raptors kicked out Vince Carter?
GM Colangelo doesn't see the basketball world in an old-school way.
The Raptors are exploring the possibility of taking Andrea Bargnani with the first pick in the NBA draft, but Chris Bosh has serious issues with that potential scenario.
Bosh gave better reviews to two other potential top picks -- 6-foot-9 LSU forward Tyrus Thomas and Dallas workout-mate LaMarcus Aldridge, a 6-foot-11 forward/centre out of Texas.

Re: Chris Bosh kicked out Vince Carter?
Last I remember Vince wanted to be traded, not forced out. Toronto has been suffering for years after this happened. And since when does a rookie/sophomore dictate what an entire franchise does?
...sigh... Here we go again.

Re: Chris Bosh kicked out Vince Carter?
The team kicked VC out & he wanted out. The team was going in a different direction trying to build the team around Bosh b/c of his potential & what the kid showed in his 1st 1 1/2 seasons so in a way he did kind of kick Carter out. But I doubt that Bosh forcefully went to management & told them to deal him. If the Raptors didn't have an upcoming All-Star big man as leverage then they probably would have been more hesitant to deal VC.

Re: Chris Bosh kicked out Vince Carter?
Bosh had nothing to do with Vince leaving Toronto. It was Vince's "I'm Playing 13.5% right now", trade demands, his 15 PPG average, him missing 40 games per season due to his made up injuries......."Jumper's Knee"
LMAO@Jumper's Knee.

The team was forced to build around Bosh because Vince wanted to be traded. Not the other way around. Babcock wanted what the team would be like having centered around Carter and Bosh.
The rest is history...

Believe what you want. I was watching all those games & it was like they were already starting to build around Bosh when Carter was still there. Last season before Carter was traded the horrible games & horrible stats were indeed the result of his lack of effort but also b/c he wasn't being used properly by Mitchell. Carter even said that when he was on the team that they were running a lot of plays for Bosh & the team was leaning towards building around Bosh. There were also a lot of instances that I saw where VC was hardly involved in offensive sets. There were even a few games when the Raptors were still in the thick of things & Carter didn't even play 4th quarters & he wasn't in foul trouble or anything. It's inexcusable when your most talented player doesn't play late in games when they were still competitive. Rose & Carter couldn't co-exist. They didn't have problems w/ one another but they both needed the ball in their hands a lot to be effective. I think Rose averaged more shot attempts on the team than Carter before he was dealt. Carter is the way better player than Rose & Rose was the 1 getting more touches. Carter also wasn't seeing eye to eye w/ Mitchell so Mitchell had some involvement I think in the team's concept not to go to Carter as much. Big mistake.

Re: Chris Bosh kicked out Vince Carter?
To Raptors fans:
Some Raptors fans are unbelivable always finding themselves in a position to make excuses & defend the organization & management just to say Carter sucks & how Carter is a terrible person. It was the media that swayed you guys into thinking that the Raptors' drop from competitiveness was solely Carter's fault. Yes it was wrong for a superstar player to not commit himself in the offseasons to preserve his game. Yes it's not good to ask to be traded but so many players have done so before & since the incident but Carter seems to be treated worse than the others. It's not his fault that he was injured a lot. He's a highflying act & those type of players have a greater chance of being injured. Please put some blame on management.
Raptors fans are lucky that they had Carter for a time as he electrified countless of fans across the globe & put the Raptors on the basketball map. Some Raptors fans such as myself have stayed loyal to him. And don't tell me I'm not a Raptors fan b/c I support Carter. I support Carter & I support the Raps. He brought the franchise to the postseason & if it wasn't for him I bet the Raptors organization would of met the same fate as the Grizzlies, relocating. Now retire his jersey damn it !
