Options For 1st Pick
If Bryan does decide to trade the pick, and deals with other teams picking high do not pan out, what are his other options if he is not impressed with the top guys and wants to trade down? New Orleans is rumoured to have alot of interest in moving up, would their 2 first rounders, 12 and 15, along with J.R Smith be enough for 1, or even tossing in Eric Williams who has experience playing for Bryon Scott and getting a guy like Macijauskas back who is unhappy there. So a deal of the 1st pick and Ewill for the 12, 15, Smith and Macijauskas, would that be a deal that would draw some interest? I think that a deal of the 1st for Jack and 4th is more attractive but if a deal with teams in the top 5 fall through, would getting two opposite style wing players with potential plus 2 top 15 picks where we would still have a chance to add players like Simmons, Reddick, O'Bryant, and Shelden be enough to get Bryan to pull the trigger?

If BC really believed he had 2 diamonds in the rough in this "deep" draft that is not top heavy, AND he could unload some baggage. He might. But I think he has other possibilities that fit ahead of that scenario.

Re: Options For 1st Pick
#1 + Eric Williams, (+ Rafael Araujo)
for
#5 + Marvin Williams
Then draft Marcus Williams
Lineup of
Marcus Williams
Morris Peterson
Marvin Williams
Charlie Villanueva
Chris Bosh
Edit:
If Bosh really convinces BC to go big, we can draft Shelden Williams instead.

Re: Options For 1st Pick
some pretty unrealistic trades there.... JR smith is a great talent by himself and then the hornets are supposed to throw in two more picks plus a player.

Have you forgotten about the botched 'JR Smith for Brent Barry' deal at the deadline?

would it be posssible to trade down twice?
Like Perhaps once to ATL or Portland, pick up a player we want and then trade it again to like hornets?

Re: Options For 1st Pick
When you quote Mo, my Ignore feature is circumvented.
Someone in the press already suggested a double trade down. Given how BC can ID talent, I would not be surprised if he thinks his best players can be had further down while picking up or shedding other stuff.

Atlanta quotes Dane Cook on this one, "Are you out of your f***ing mind!?"
