No.1 Draft Pick
With the raptors getting their supreme draft pick will they take tyrus thomas, someone else or trade their pick for a player??? if so give me your thoughts on who they will get.

I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt, 100% sure, guaranteed by my word as a man, the answer is...
...maybe...

Re: No.1 Draft Pick
As much as there is no clear cut #1 pick...this guy is the furthest from it between Bargnani, Aldridge, Morrison, and Gay.....He may fit on another team and play well...but I don't think he will be as good as Hakim Warrick.

I agree.
I'd still like to see Bargnani, Gay, Morrison or Alridge in a Raps uni, either that or trade down and draft Williams or Splitter.

Re: No.1 Draft Pick
i just love how we get our pick of whoever we want. there is a minimum amount of risk- we can do mountains of research on every player (in every way), we won't be surprised by who was or wasn't selected ahead of us, we won't be sitting there with just 5 minutes to make a decision (we have about a month to make this pick), etc. and if we decide to move the pick, we have about a month to maximize its trade value. if we want a player like bargnani, for example, we'll have a month to move down and get another asset on top of the player we would've picked #1 anyway. i'm loving it. sure it might not work out perfectly in the end, but the potential for our draft choice (as of this moment) is indeed perfect.
i love our group already. now we'll be adding the player who we consider to be the most promising prospect available. things couldn't be better... winning the lottery has been one helluva drug for me.
peace

This whole offseason so far has been like a dream. Grabbing BC, having Bosh commit to us, and then winning the lottery. It feels like we've got something to be excited about, and nothings happened yet.
Things just seem to be going our way this off season. I hope the draft does too.

Re: No.1 Draft Pick
i just don't know anymore.
with humphries on board i gotta think that BC will trade down. can he really keep collecting forwards?
Roy is starting to look better by the day.
it's really hard to figure out what BC is trying to do with this team. he looks to be going uptempo and athletic so tyrus could theoretically fit in.
craziness. biggest offseason EVER.
