I work in Halifax at a Toyota delership.....they have a filter that tkaes out almost everthing....sports, entertainment, liesure.....ect.
I can get Environment Canada, car sites, bank sites and this site......hey one is better than none!

The buy-out of Roko is set a 1.5 million. The raptors can pay $500,000 of it. Roko has to pay the rest. He's making 1.1 million dollars a season over in Spain for the next three years meaning we'd have to offer him a contract in the range of about 4.5 million over three years to give him a contract where he would get as much as eh woudl in Europe plus a couple 100K.
He's been playing great ball over in Europe as of late and I think he's well worth it. The hard part if we bring him over is to try and fit some considerable playing tme for him as I don't think the D-leauge is a good place to put him.
Has everybody seen the clips that have been floating around with him?

why not sign him long-term? get him for 5 years, he'll be able to handle the buy-out easilly against guarenteed pay. even at a million a year plus the 500k, he'll still pocket more than most of us will ever earn.
or we can sign him to a 1-year biggish deal, let him pay off his debts, prove himself, and we can extend him next summer with that bit of capspace we'll have (assuming he doesn't just bolt)

oh, and regarding his talent...
the kid has star potential. he's really stood out in the bits i've seen of him. he has a really wierd looking handle--very low dribble--totally in control of the ball while looking out of control. he's got the jitterbug thing going, great slasher, scorer. he's a unique player. i'm really excited to see him play for us.

Calderon always looked like he was out of control dribbling but had control at the same timt too, I think it's cuz he dribbled too high (caldderon)
I'm just hoping that NBA 2K7 will have Ukic in their roster, and I don't have to create him like for Bonner, Sow, and Calderon in 2K6

roko had a deal ready to go with us before he was backmailed into signing with tau. as it was he would have had to work half or so of his whole arranged deal before he'd paid off his kk split buyout. money did not seem to be a defining issue, nor does it now.
