Re: Who do u think won the deal, Raps or Jazz?

we won Hoffa will always be a bust, just not athlethicx enough, and short arms, we get a quicker player who can run the court in Humphries has better scoring moves.

Re: Who do u think won the deal, Raps or Jazz?

I have a gut feeling that Araujo will have a break out year. I wanted to see him kept for another year. Oh well, if Hoffa drops like 10/6 next year, I'll be happy for him.

I do think raps gave up on him too much, then again, maybe we just weren't able to work with him either. 2 way street?

I don't know squat about these Jazz kids, so I can't say who got the better end.

Re: Who do u think won the deal, Raps or Jazz?

I really hope Araujo has a breakout year with Utah. The guy works soooo damn hard, never complains about anything, and was constantly booed when he'd miss a shot. He really needed a change of scenery.

Re: Who do u think won the deal, Raps or Jazz?

I'm still undecided, perhaps because I know this is but the beginning of what will be a long off-season. Perhaps when it's all said and done, this trade is a straight out win when we can look at the pieces we pick-up/trade away, and the position we're in come October.

I suppose that, just looking solely at this deal, many would give us the automatic thumbs-up (cue 'Hoffa is a bust' comments), but in reality, Humphries has done little more than Hoff. That's not so much a knock on Kris as it could be. Obviously has some talent, but was under-utilised in Salt Lake City - smells like a Hoff situation. Perhaps in the end, this will be a dead even draw.

"I really like him...to me he's already pretty special," Mavericks star Dirk Nowitzki said after continually getting beat to the basket by Bosh. "He's going to be a great player in this league."

"Chris Bosh really has emerged to be a star in this league. There are more than the top three (in the 2003 draft)." - Dwyane Wade

I love everything about him, I love his game, I love his work ethic. He definitely has my approval - Kobe Bryant"

The team that ends up with Hoffa definitely doesn't win.

So either the raptors win, or it'll be a draw.

Neither team in the long run. Both teams just wanted to swap distractions.

Re: Who do u think won the deal, Raps or Jazz?

Hoffa never would have done well here.

That being said I think he will do better in Utah that Humphries/Whaley will do here

Winner....Utah.

Whaley's gone, so it's only Kris versus Hoff and Kris will do far more for the Raps than Hoffa ever could.
