What do Raptors fans want with #1?
As a Blazer fan, I'm curious what you guys think is the best deal.

Do those million threads have the poll that is the basis of this thread? I didn't see that anywhere else.

Re: What do Raptors fans want with #1?
Bassy & #4 would do the trick for me. Although I wouldn't mind keeping it and picking Bargnani. It's just that I'm not sure Bargnani won't be around at #4 anyway, and if not him, maybe Gay.

I wouldn't trade down to get Blake or Jack.

Re: What do Raptors fans want with #1?
Likewise, sign me up for Bassy and the number 4 pick any day of the week. We've never been set on anyone player, and whoever looks like the best player now, likely won't be the best player a week from now. Just like in some drafts there is no difference between, for isntance the 5-10th spot, there is very little difference between the 1-5 in this years. It doesn't happen often but it did this year.

Draft Bargnani or Thomas.

Re: What do Raptors fans want with #1?
The perfect deal would be to trade down to Charlotte and get Brevin and draft Andrea Bargnani. Then bring over Roko to back up Brevin and learn from him.

Well besides the fact Portland would just not do that..........I'd still almost rather have Knight. I'm fine with developing Ukic as our stud and Knight would make a great mentor. With Telfair I still think you need to go out and get a vetran point guard to start and mentor him. I also think Telfair is overated and is not as good of a playmaker as he is made out to be.

Re: What do Raptors fans want with #1?
People do realize that Knight will be a free agent (unrestricted) in a year, right?
