Re: Another first round pick?
One possibilty I can see is that we might have found a team willing to take Mike in a S&T and then they give us a player and their late first pick. I think Perhaps Mihm/Bynum and 26 would be nice from the Lakers or something with Cleveland perhaps who might have some interest in Mike.
Also hasn't Seatle said their number 10 is for sale for cash and a future pick?

Please keep that Laker thought on the DL. No need to make Raptors fans look bad.

Mihm and the 26th isn't that bad of a deal for Mike James. Especially if MJ won't sign for the MLE and the Lakers are tossing in crap contract to make the salaries work (broken McKie).
Bynum is definately out of the question, though. Bynum and Kwame are staying, Mihm is going.

Thanks for the obvious. Of course it was Bynum that I was referring to. James for Mihm, Bynum (10th pick last year) and the 26th is ridiculous.

Unless the plan is SF Villinueva PF Bargnani C Bosh
if we take Bargnani then gotta trade CV31.

Why do we have to trade CV31? Sorry it's hard to take any comments you make about Bargnani seriously with that picture of LA in your avatar.

You never know when someone out of the blue will offer you a player you covet PLUS their PICK. You have to know your stuff up and down for just such an occasion.
Adding a pick may not be out of the question depending on the deal. If CV goes in a deal or its a bigger deal, a pick coming back may be needed to balance the deal in terms of value. If the #1 pick is not part of it you never know.
Don't rule anything out. You're never too young to add a great youg player if they see him. Especially if BC sees value in a mid to late that will net him a Euro that he covets that no one else is high on.
You can't listen to the BS. They come away from the Aldridge workout impressed. Impressed by what? He worked out on his own and clearly did not demonstrate crazy athletic ability, because he has none. Because they have the first pick they have to keep every option open to keep people guessing. This includes working out every player and saying they all looked good.

Re: Another first round pick?
I think trading Charlie Villanueva could turn out to be terrible for this franchise, so what, he may not fit with who we have our mind set on at number one. That's okay, let's not do anything drastic until we know that they won't fit together and then trade the player who is helping us out the least, it may not be Charlie.
It just seems silly to me that some fans would jump from player to player so quickly. It's only been one season, and to tell you the truth I am expecting more out of Villanueva than I am from whoever we draft. Of course this doesn't mean he is untouchable if the Cavs offer us LeBron and their first round pick. Putting Villanueva on the trading block or shopping him around would be lame.
As far as acquiring another first round pick goes, I'm not so sure. What you say is true Mao, nobody has any intention of taking Rondo or Williams with the first overall pick, and for as much rumours and reason to believe we'll trade the pick, we have equally as much info saying we'll keep it. It very well could just be Colangelo trying to cover all his bases, but the thing that makes it so interesting is that these players are coming back for second and third visits.
I like that Bulls trade that Ballyhoo brought up where we get the 2 and 16 for the number 1. Let's all cross our fingers, pray that this trade gets done, and give Charlie Villanueva a hug because we'll never let him go (next year at least).
