Re: did i read that right
isn't that the consensus opinion?
I haven't been reading the messageboards much lately, but I remember a couple draft sites saying bargnani won't make an impact for a few years. And that aldridge would step right in and help a team

Re: did i read that right
Bargnani will make an impact in the first couple of years. There is no reason to believe that he wouldn't, esp. given that he plays, starts, and does well in one of the top 3 leagues in the world. How could that possibly mean that he won't have an impact while Aldridge would?

Re: did i read that right
I worry about this a lot. We all know that the Toronto papers have nothing but the best, most informed basketball journalists covering the Raptors. So if they say something, it should be accepted as gospel.

Re: did i read that right
lamarcus aldridge is more nba ready than bargnani, he plays in europe, Aldridge plays in the NCAA, no comparison between the two.

So B-Ninny plays against men and Aldridge plays against 19 and 20 year olds. I understand, thanks for dropping knowledge.

I'm not surprised. The Toronto Star is a horrible news publication.

Re: did i read that right
I don't think one can make a conclusion either way. It doesn't seem like a ridiculous statement to me.
Is Adam Morrison ready to stop crying in the NBA?
