English made the mistake by leaving ncaa and having a crappy agent now he will never step foot in the nba. Also he told me hes going to the nuggets training camp this summer and i doubt he makes that roster.

What you mean he has to fight out a roster spot with current talents such as Shawn Kemp. LOL. Ya I would believe English has no chance at the NBA.

He is very gifted offensively and has great hard working ethics, atleast on the floor from what I saw in college, I find his hustle to be similar to Posey's

A "weak" Hawaii team that got an at-large bid. A 10 seed is a fairly good team out of the WAC. Carl English played on NCAA tournament teams 2 out of 3 years, both times they were in at large seeds.... the WAC is not the Big East or in the Big 6 conferences, but its right in that next tier of solid conferences, and well above the SWAC, Patriot and other crap.

What exactly has he proven? He is a solid NCAA player, who is dumb on the court.

Re: Is Denham Brown this man?
I dont think Carl English has the body, to get in the Nba, Ive seen him around serveral times, even informed him that Toronto had the #1 Overall Pick in the Draft.( Because he is building a house, through the Hardware store that I work at) We talked a little basketball, and said Barganni would Go Top 5 For Sure...... Nice Guy, but i dunno about the Nba for him.. I think Denham is a much better player, but who knows what Nba scouts are saying, id say he goes 30-40... I kinda want the Raps to pick him, but if they dont, I won't hate it.

That is actually a very good comparison.
Brown is a legend here with his 111 point performance but he failed to live up to his hype in college and he suffers from terrible inconsistency. I would love him to be in Toronto #1 because he is Canadian and #2 what he can do for the Raps in terms of community reach more so than his actual game.

agreed, im not high on him at all...hes a pretty good athlete but nothing special on the nba level...his best attribute is probably his offensive instinct, but i dont think its anything that remarkable either...there are many guys i prefer for the 35th pick then him...

Re: Is Denham Brown this man?
That might be the reason he said 3 years...it has been two seasons since Okafor played at UCONN, thus being three seasons since he last started a season.
Just a guess.

Re: Is Denham Brown this man?
I like Denham and think he's got to be one of the top players around at 35. He's as NBA ready as an NCAA player can be (among non-superstars).
As for inconsistant UCONN players, WTF happened to Josh Boone? He was all hyped up as a top ten/ high loto pick early this season . . .and then he played like garbage. Well not like "me starting for Uconn" garbage, but all his stats were down last year, and you would have thought he'd have excelled with Charlie's front court minutes available.
