NBA.com's amalgamated draft board

http://www.nba.com/draft2006/consensus.html

From eight mock drafts comes one comprehensive compilation.

01. LaMarcus Aldridge
02. Tyrus Thomas
03. Andrea Bargnani
04. Adam Morrison
05. Brandon Roy

It should be noted that only two sites picked Aldridge to go first (Sportsline & Inside Hoops). Four picked Bargnani and two picked Morrison. NBADraft.net (for whatever reason) is not part of this group.

Aldridge becomes the first pick due to having three second-pick votes in addition to the firsts.

Quote:
* To calculate the consensus, we awarded 14 points for the first overall pick, 13 to the second, continuing to 1 for the final lottery pick. The player with the highest point total represents the top overall selection.

Re: NBA.com's amalgamated draft board

Aldridge will NOT go #1. Remember those Green workouts last year? How did that do. He won't drop that far, but he was projected top 10. Solo workouts and horrid combice numbers (even for a big) will push him.

Tyrus Thomas?

This system is a little off kilter.
