There may be a Charlotte trade soon...
think about it. MJ's first responsiblity is the draft and we know he likes players with fire, so he wants Adam. He won't pick Gay because he's shown to be lazy. He doesn't want to end up like Kwame again. So, i think CLT will want our pick for AMMO.

the reason why they would move up is becasue they fear the blazers will move up to take ammo. so charlotte might want to make a trade to secure him.

I guess the extra three years hasn't done much for your spelling, grammar or sentence structure. These message boards are for any and all basketball fans. If you don't like that take a hike. The guy was just pointing out, and quite correctly, that owners don't often have much direct contact with the players. Certainly not enough to "take them under their wing".

Re: There may be a Charlotte trade soon...
Jordan is a brand new minority owner. Not a GM, not a coach and not a player. His impact on this draft should be minimal

Re: There may be a Charlotte trade soon...
Jordan will have a final decision on all personnel decisions, according to majority owner Robert Johnson. Thus it would be possible for him to take Brandon Roy under his wing.

Granted, however he hasn't been a part of the scouting process until now. Surely he can't make the final call based on such limited knowledge.

When your birth certificate reads "Michael Jordan", you have a say on a lot of things. Whether we choose to believe it or not, his involvement in this draft is a sure thing. It's up to him to decide whether he wants to become that involved this early.

Re: There may be a Charlotte trade soon...
There is no doubt in my mind that Michael will have a major influence on what the Bobcats do next Wednesday. That doesn't mean though that Michael will serve as an assistant coach for Brandon Roy or whoever the Bobcats take.

He's Michael Jordan. He can do anything he wants.
