does d. wade winning MVP and NBA title put presure on CB4 to win here in TO?
D. Wade went 5th in the draft the same year as CB4 and now has a NBA title and MVP to go with his resume, does this give bosh incentive to step his game up to win at all costs?

whats with all the Wade vs. Bosh threads? lol.
Both are great players, lets just put it as that. Oh yeah to answer this thread's Q... no it shouldnt put any pressure on Bosh, Bosh is Bosh and Wade is Wade... Just worry about yourself I say

The only one with pressure is LeBron. He really needs the championship to ever be compared to Jordan.

I don't think it puts that much pressure on any of the big 3 of that year. Wade had Shaq and a better supporting cast. That being said, Wade did put up an awesome performance in the playoffs, especially the finals.

i think any player that wins it should put pressure on CB4 to win it all. Its somebody taking the trophy he set out to win, at the beggining of the year, the trophy he works so hard for, and has dreamt about winning since coming to the NBA.

I kinda worry about the Toronto media making an issue about this. You never know what ridiculous articles they'll be pulling out of their asses now that Wade's won an MVP and Bosh hasn't. Kinda like how they kept bringing up Iggy over Hoffa.

i HIGHLY doubt that happens...Wade winnign without Shaq, ill peg Miami to win it all again next year, this time with Shaq being the MVP. Shaq retires, Wade becomes the new Kobe.

Re: does d. wade winning MVP and NBA title put presure on CB4 to win here in TO?
as BudBoy said, the only pressure that Bosh will experience under this particular scenario will be from the fickle Toronto media reporters who have nothing better to do than try to put down their sport stars...
Wade was lucky enough to have such great talent surround him both on the court (ie/ Shaq, Walker, GP, Zo, etc) and in the office (Pat Riley is one of the best basketball minds ever, compare his exp. with Babs or Sammy) that he was in the perfect environment to succeed and that is what hes done...Bosh on the other hand has faced the complete opposite...

Re: does d. wade winning MVP and NBA title put presure on CB4 to win here in TO?
It will definitely fire him up more to win a title since another standout from his draft class who was picked after him won the 'ship but I don't think there's any pressure on him @ all. It's Bron who has the pressure.

Give Bosh the team that Wade, Melo, or Lebron has and yes.
But put him on the court with Bonner and Humpheries and you're just hoping for the best.

I think it's a little different because Iggy was the consensus pick that year, but Babcock went with Hoffa, which no one expected. Just about everyone expected Bosh to get picked 4th, and that's exactly what happend.
Wade winning the MVP and NBA title doesn't really put any more pressure on Bosh IMO. Nor should it.
