morrison or bargnani pick one
personally i am a big morrison fan but i think bargnani is the best talent in this draft, the argument can be made that a wing player like morrison would be a better fit or do you go with the best available. make the pick.

Morrison, we dont need a big man with the rasho trade, BC wil either go with Morrison or go small with a point guard. He will trade down to get morrison, maybe a 3 or 4.

the thing is though, nesterovic isn't our answer. so we can never have enough talented big men. i think this is what colangelo means by saying we don't have enough to pick in terms of need yet.

Re: morrison or bargnani pick one
Bargnani
put him offensively in the high post facing the basket against opposition 5s....defensively, have him work on being more physical by having Rasho beat up on him for the next 3 years...physically, hes already big at a legit 7 feet, 250 lbs. if he can add 10 more lbs and maintain his quickness, he along with bosh and charlie will pose so many problems with their range and athleticism...

Very few of us have seen enough to be able to discount Bargnani as not being passionate or agressive. What we do know, however, is that he has stepped it up big in big time games; which would lead one to believe that he is passionate and clutch. Very important qualities. And being 7'0" and 249 is better than 6'8" and 198 in my books.

I agree that we haven't seen Bargnani and can't judge his heart, but Morrison displayed such confidence and leadership he became known for it. That's not to say Mago isn't a great leader, but give credit where it's due.
As far as they're sizes go, if Adam is going to be dominant in the NBA like he was in college, he'll do so inspite of his size and because of his heart.
With the number one pick I probably take Bargnani unless something crazy happens. He'll probably take a few years to reach his stride and I certainly think AMMO will have a bigger impact next year, but Bargnani looks like a stud.
I sure do like Morrison as a darkhourse, the kid has been nothing but his entire life and always came out on top...

to expand more on the darkhorse theory. sometimes you need that special glue guy that keeps your team together as opposed to a more talented player. you can have a bunch of super talent squashed together, but if there is no glue to keep the chemistry strong . all that talent is going to waste. if you can get a leader. a motivator. a guy who will challenge his team mates to play better than they are. you have to take that over someone who may or may not be a great player later on. the quality to make players around you better is what makes the greats. i think adam has that potential more than anyone else in this draft.

i'm torn.
but i will say AMMO because i love the emotion he brings, and i think the raps would benefit from it.
