Exactly. There's nothing that special about Daniels so there's no reason to get a hard-on.

At least Mike James can start for us at point and stay healthy.

Good deal. I'd take anything for Mike, and I like Marquis as a player. Still cannot believe we took Ramon Van De Hare over him..

I would take him. He has a reasonable deal if that 4th yr is a team option. I think he is a very moveable piece for future moves as well.

Take it... Daniels would bring a lot of toughness. He's the best defensive player on the Mavs team, and if it wasn't for Josh Howard, he'd be a starter. Let him fight MoPete for the starter job.

Mike is great but he is getting old while Quis has been injured in games he's played in he has been phenomanal

Dallas wont throw anyone else in there anyways so I dont think it will go

The question is, who else would you rather have than Daniels?

You can let MJ leave, and use the money on a FA. (You're not going to do much better on a S&T.)

I like Daniels, but it is an fairly expensive contract. Daniels makes good passes. He is a better playmaker by far than MoPete or Graham.
