not sure why anyone would want to jump the gun on expectations when you're talking about a team like toronto, who hasn't yet decided how it plans to use its #1 overall draft pick, who has $10-14 in capspace this summer, who hasn't yet made a decision on mike james (whether it's to re-sign him, sign & trade him or let him walk), etc.

i mean, why would you? it's a little funny for some, scary for others. these are critical issues, imo. my blood runs raptor purple and i still have no idea. we're living in the "opinion for the sake of an opinion" age, i guess, and we get loads of useless info as a result. why we can't just wait before we make our claim is beyond me. just a li'l bit... just hang on... just wait a couple of weeks, boys... just relax, grab a bevy and slow down...

your opinion would be worth quite a bit more if you actually took the time and common sense to come up with it.

its pretty obvious that bc is really changing the perception on how the raps are looked upon outside of toronto...heres a perfect e.g...im not a babcock fan, but if he was here and he pulled off the exact same moves, i doubt very much we hear anything about playoff possibilities...

i, for one, dont buy it...the raps are still at the bottom of the tier when it comes to defending and rebounding...nesterovic helps a lil bit, but really, if you watch the raps last yr, we need a lot of help, not a lil, when it comes to those 2 areas....

similarly, theres no one in this yrs draft that will significantly helps us in those 2 areas, at least for the short term...

seriously, imo if your being realistic, i dont think u should hold your breath for making the playoffs next yr...
