Re: What's in the black box?
The way you " see" the game. It has to be a new style of basketball. I think it's exactly that.

Re: What's in the black box?
I'm with the guy who says it's a new camera view, or a new way of broadcasting. This will be nothing to throw a party over. I wish it were international teams, but it won't be.

Yes. A new logo w/ the silhouette of Jordan doing a fade away or something would be nice. I wonder how Jerry West would feel about that.

Re: What's in the black box?
I was just watching Raptors behind the lottery, and after they give BC the White ball he says:
"This isn't the new ball, this is an 8 panel ball. The new one has 2 panels."
So BC just leaked the secret, hopefully he doesn't get fined

Re: What's in the black box?
Also on one of the recent NBA Live 07 screenshots, you can clearly see the new ball is in the game.

Re: What's in the black box?
If it's only the new ball, that will be pretty lame.
My guess is that it's an old box of porno mags, just like everyone's Dad has got in the closet in the basement. All old men have them and Stern is no different. I just find it strange that he uses such a nice box and that he's revealing this to the world. It will change the way I'll watch basketball because I won't be able to think about the NBA without thinking about Stern's porno collection.
