lol, well for some reason during the draft review, watching him I just liked what he did. I loved the fadeaways he had over Brown, Morrison and Foye

Re: Sportsline: Raptors to draft Morrison and then trade for...

I like the deal with Charlotte. If BC can effectively pull this off, hes found a way to fill both of our holes at the 1 and 5 without giving up too much. Brevin I think would be better than most of the FA crop and he's a pass first point guard which we need. And on top of that, if Bargnani is BC's man, he has got him too.

I think it's smart because even though he is giving up cap space, we would have probably over spent on someone who wouldn't fix those holes anyhow.

To me Gay "fits" this team the best. A lineup of Nestorovic @ C, Bosh @ PF, Charlie V @ SF and Gay @sg would go a long way in turning this team around.

hhmm so you liked rudy's fadeaways against brown adam and foye ...
but what about the plethora of offense that adam laid on rudy / roy/ carney in the ncaa? im confused by your logic. maybe you just need to watch more video of adam because rudy has about 1/4 of the offensive repetoir under adams belt.

If that is the case then there is almost certianly movement coming on one of the roster players. Atleast Bargs can play some 4-5 Gay is 3-4 but like Hump and Charlie V.

Colangelo said today that the two players we want will *not* be available in a trade-down situation.

Unless he is bull****ting, that means the league has pegged the best 2 picks.

I doubt this right now. But I do think he is putting this out there now so that IF he uses #1, people can't come back and say "you should have traded down to x for y and still draft z."

Covering his bases.

EXactly - why would he remain as shapeless as possible all this time just to tip his hand @ the 11 hour? Or is that all part of the mind game.
