With the recent news that Sabastien Telfair may be traded to Boston for their 7th pick and filler (i.e.Dickau), the appears to be a new rumour out in Raptorland that Portland may look to trdae that newly aquired 7th pick aswell as their 4th in exchange for our first. This could then let BC potentially draft both of the players he appears to have his eye on. Thoughts?

4th + 7th in this draft has far greater value then one.

Porland Does this only if they are sure who they want (ie Morrison) will be gone at 4.

And if they want to do this anyway I don't think BC would mind Telfair + 4 for 1 anyway. They could just cut out the middle man.

Well, Telfair is the same age as most of the draftees and it's not as if he is the most mature player or oozing with basketball IQ. I'd take my chances on the 7 pick being better than Telfair seeing as one of Foye, Roy, or Gay could be available.

If Portland wouldn't trade Jack+4 for #1, then they sure wouldn't trade #7 + #4 for #1. This is wishful thinking.
