I love it.
Graham and Tucker are coming to kill your swingmen.

Quality pick. We get the toughness and rebounding we were looking for.

I'd rather have Millsap or Powe.
Feeling pretty indifferent about our draft so far.

Re: Official: Toronto selects PJ Tucker 35th overall
i like the tucker pick.
who else do we have behind joey at small forward?
Charlie will play some minutes at 3, but I like having someone we can slot in as a stopper.
I won't be suprised to see him play some shooting guard as well.

Re: Official: Toronto selects PJ Tucker 35th overall
it's important to note that this man is NOT a perimeter defender, but more of a big guy defender. we get the toughness and defender we needed..but from a 6-5 G/F. i'm confused.

Charlie, Joey, Tucker and Garbajosa.
One of the combo guards would have made more sense to me.

Great pick, could it be we get contrubitors from rnd 2 finally?
Sow,Ukic, Tucker & maybe a PG or another big.
Maybw it was Grundwald that had no idea what to do in the 2nd cause Babs did'nt do to shabby.

Re: Official: Toronto selects PJ Tucker 35th overall
im digging the defensive toughness at the wings that Tucker and Graham give us now...hopefully 2 or 3 years from now they're shut down, nasty players for this team coming off the bench

Re: Official: Toronto selects PJ Tucker 35th overall
this pick means good things to me, true. it really does. i mean, we picked him over denham (whom i still like)... that symbolizes the pursuit of a better team instead of simply satifying hopeless romantic ideals... (from hopeless romantic fans- altho i might be one of them, too).
i do prefer denham ahead of pj, i s'pose, but this is a bit of a relief regardless. leaves me with a good taste in my mouth. good stuff. wouldn't mind another one of these for 56.
peace

ok who do you like at shooting guard then.
mo pete, maybe a bit of Joey.
tucker is defensively strong, a very good rebounder for his size, with a mean post game.
he was not picked for the offensive end, this is a guy that can bang with 2's and 3's and make them earn their shots, rebounds, and possesion.
yo soy contento

I don't like Joey too much at the 2. I see Garbajosa playing some minutes at the 3 and 4. Not so much need for more 3s.
At the 2 , we have MoPete, then..........? A combo guard could give us some depth at both guard positions which we desperately need.

Tucker is going to be playing 15-17 minutes per game to give Mo a rest. he isn't going to demand shots, and he is going to provide solid wing defence.
