In the star today there was an article on him, saying he was sad when Toronto passed him by, but then they heard him call his name on TV and his mom showered him with champagne and so forth. He had like a draft party at a hotel hall I think.

probably went to the bathroom on commercial break and when he came back he found out he was drafted by the sonics when it was off the air

from what i saw yesterday on RAPStv, he was talking on the cell phone drinking some champaigne to drown his disappointment somewhere in the corner of the hall, when he heard loud cheers, banging on the wall and 'gunshots ina de air' (any one from T.O knows what that is, for everyone else, it's a hand gesture shooting up in the air)

from that point it was mass celebration and it goes on to saying that his mom prefered him to be drafted in the states because he has too many friends here in T.O telling him what to do...as for denham, he seemed shocked but relieved, he said that he didn't even work out for seattle and that he's just happy to be drafted...(he was sure toronto would take him though, especially with the second workout, that makes two locals who got shunned in the second round (mendez last year and deeham this year)...

In an interview on raps tv yesterday (it wasn't the AB press conference, but the end of draft interview i think) BC said Danham wasn't on their draft board because they felt he would have too many distractions in Toronto.
