The better Marcus PG is an unrestircted FA in Minny. Marcus Banks averaged over 12 ppg and 5 apg in 38 starts for Minny, after the Boston trade. Plus over a steal, and good shooting %. He is only 25. Similar numbers to Claxton, but younger and healthier.

I think it might be worth taking a Flip on Murray. Nice combo guard off the bench. Does a bit of everything. His numbers don't impress you, but somehow, his play does.

I think we should pick up Jamal Sampson as our deep depth big. He's still very young, 6-11 235, and he plays like Dan Gadzuric. Ridiculous rebounder, runs the floor, blocks shots. Could still develop into a good NBA player, can likely get him for the league minimum.

if were going after free agents, i say we should go after Jason Terry and then Marcus Banks. We should make a run at JT, and if not marcus banks should be our next option.

The Jet is hardly the pass first point guard we are looking for... Me might as well just resign Mike James, they are very similar players.

Plus it looks like the Jet will be sign as soon as the 14th rolls around.

Jet would be my first choice, but I doubt he'd leave Dallas to come to Toronto. He's a shoot-first guard like James, but much more team-oriented. I don't know why people are so scared of PGs who can score and create shots.

Banks would contrast well with Calderon. He's fast, strong, and a good defender. His PG skills aren't good, but he can still develop them.
