Re: Gut feeling BC is targeting Al Harrington.
He and Mike James would be good friends. They have lots in common.

I think we need a better shooter than JR Smith.

Re: Gut feeling BC is targeting Al Harrington.
Jared Jeffries would be a very good fit, could defend 2-4 positions, wouldnt take too many shots, can run, can rebound..

Re: Gut feeling BC is targeting Al Harrington.
y would u want a guy that doesnt score much
If we lost mike james and villaneuva.. thats about 35 points lost on offense right there
We need a person who can score And that person is harrington
Jared Jefferies= No chance

He did shot 37% from 3 last season, up from 28 in his rookie season. Plus he's young and he's got a nice stroke.
With the pieces we have left to trade, I think he's someone we could realistically land without giving up MoPete or Graham. People talk Jefferies, but that guy can't shoot to save his life.

JR can definately hit the 3 and is only getting better. His value is at an all-time low now too. Not sure what the Hornets would want for him, though... Graham is out of the question. They don't really need Pape either with Hilton Armstrong and Cedric Simmons.

Re: Gut feeling BC is targeting Al Harrington.
Harrington will get a huge contract this off season, some team will overpay for this guy who's essentially a good complimentary player.
Peja seems to be the obvious solution here the way he could spread the floor with his shooting ability ala Phoenix, but money and injury concerns should end any thoughts of Peja in TO

Maybe Jose, with Claxton (likely) leaving, they could use a backup PG, and BC doesn't seem to high on Calderon.

Are you kidding me? He was hitting from everywhere in the McDonald's All-America game.
Just kidding.

Re: Gut feeling BC is targeting Al Harrington.
Ok I'm pretty sure Calderon for JR Smith wouldn't go down. Why would the Hornets give up on him, for a player that would be a backup to their best player. I think a few of you overvalue Calderon on this board. Calderon probably doesn't have much trade value at all in the L. I think JR smith could be had, but the price will be a little steeper then you think. He showed a lot of potential his rookie year, but took a step backwards in his second season. I think this guy could still be awesome, but it would take at least a future #1 to pry him from NOK.
