Gut feeling BC is targeting Al Harrington.
Al would fit in perfectly with this team and fill the void at SF very nicely, and remember Harrington is an unrestricted free agent (we still have aprox 10million in cap) and is very similar to Charlie. This would be the only way I justify this trade.

Eh... I'm not convinced.
Jared Jeffries, maybe.

JJ is coming into his own as a stopper. Wizards went on the open and said they'll match any reasonable offer.

I'd love Jefferies here. Defensive stud who can run & finish. Welcome to the new Raptors!

Re: Gut feeling BC is targeting Al Harrington.
Don't expect Atlanta to fight for him, we don't want him. BTW Hariington doesn't play a lick of defense, is a ballhog, and gets lazy at times.

Or maybe we really do want Peja.
Or maybe we think Joey, PJ, and Jorge can hold it down.

Re: Gut feeling BC is targeting Al Harrington.
Most people won't like the sounds of this, but with more minutes at the 3 going to Joey we need a backup 2. I'd like to give JR Smith a shot. Right now, he'd could be had for cheap, I think Calderon and a 2nd could get it done. They need a backup PG with Claxton most likely taking off.
People will talk about his troubles with Scott, but by many accounts Scott is an a-hole. He had problems with Kidd when he was in NJ.
Smith doesn't have a big contract, so I think it's really low risk but the possibility of high reward.
If we could just make sure that his nutjob dad gets denied at customs.

Re: Gut feeling BC is targeting Al Harrington.
i'd like harrington here...replaces charlie, i already was thinking of a S&T involving james & harrington if we don't see marquis daniels here... or we could resign mike...
JR Smith would be amazing... one of my favourite players...needs a new systemm...can you say run & gun?

Re: Gut feeling BC is targeting Al Harrington.
Just say NO to Al. He's a good offensive player, but he doesn't play with 100% effort and WHERE'S THE DEFENCE? His definition of "Box out" is "no more donuts left" (can't remember where that quote's from)

Re: Gut feeling BC is targeting Al Harrington.
Why?
We have enough players who can score.
Check what you've been eating lately.

Toronto don't want Al. He isn't that good. And isn't really much of a SF.
