Re: Is Jose next?

doubt it . i think they are gonna make jose shoot as many threes as he can this summer. pass first point guards like him are hard to find . but he fits the mold colangelo is trying to make . team oriented , fast break players , who can hopefully make the three. this will be jose's greatest challenge. if he shows a potent 3 point shot , hes in . if he struggles shooting again , then he may have to go . but i think the fact that hes a euo-player may work to his advantage since a) bc loves euros and b) hes a pass first pg who can break down defenses and play at a very fast pace.

i still remember jose's energy in his first game for the raptors. the turned the tide of the game as soon as he came in . thats when he had energy and didnt have an injured heel . look for him to do that again this year. too much potential in this young spaniard. i have a feeling we will keep the spaniard as i , as well as anyone else, can see that hes a rare type of point guard mold that would thrive on a team where there are lots of shooters/ slashers /runners who will benefit from his fast tempo.

Re: Is Jose next?

notice bc never mentions him when he talks about the core of the raptors...its always been: bosh, cv (obviously before the trade..), graham, and sometime he'll mention mo pete too...calderon is probably on the block...

Re: Is Jose next?

Jose is quite a bit bigger and stronger, not as quick. Might be better in half court. TJ is becoming a respectable 3pt shooter. Jose is terrible outside the arc, but not bad from 17 feet.

Not that similar, really.
