Free agent players cannot sign a new deal until July 11, but were allowed to start negotiating Saturday. James said interest in his services by other teams has been "surreal."

"I'm just tired of being treated like a cheap prostitute," James said when asked what kind of money he was looking for. "It's not about money. I just want a home."

If money isn't his main concern, then expect to see him back in Houston for next season. We've been trying very hard to get him back, and he wants to come back as well (his home is still in Houston).

For what Mike James gets paid he should be treated like a very expensive hooker.

I like MJ, have all year and I hope he gets into the right situation.

ha! mike james is a funny dude...i think the guy has a pt thou. i think every team hes gone to, hes been productive but for whatever reason, they decide not to keep him around...

also in the same article, he talks about what bosh said about needing a pass 1st pg, "hurt his feelings" lol...kudos to him for no taking a shot back thou, because he could have easily done so..(.e.g bringing up the fact that bosh seemed to crumble all yr long at crunch time)...

that was kind of a cheap shot by bosh, come to think of it, and its rather unfortunate, but hes seeming to be taking a pg out of vc book in being very un-media savvy...not a very smart thing of cb4 to say at all...

^^^ Woah hold up Bosh hasnt said anything on VC's or even Rafers level for that matter they were both whining beyatches. And we dont see Bosh's Mama screaming orders neither which is a nice change.

Bosh is media savvy he simply wanted a pass first PG. Ask any big they will say the same thing.

well yes, forget bigs, every player on the floor wants a pass 1st pg, thats not disputable...everyone wants their touches, obviously...but the thing is, bosh could have been more diplomatic in his answer...for e.g he could have said something like " yeah, a pass 1st pg would be nice, but mike james played an important part on our club and he'll be missed if hes not resign" blah, blah, blah, or something to that effect...the usual typical athletes non-response-response...instead, he said what he said, making him looking very harsh and critical of james...not smart...why take a shot at somebody when theres absolutely no need to??? supposedly bc is looking for a combo guard, which james is actually a pretty good fit for, but with bosh taking shots at him, u can probably forget about resigning him now...

also with the bargnani thing where he said he wanted a banger, and not another finesse 4 like bargnani...again, it makes perfect sense, but why bring it up in the 1st place?? he should have just done the typical athlete response "i just want to win, im happy with anyone that helps the club" blah, blah, blah...if im bargnani coming in and reading that, im thinking, hmm, my future teammate doesnt seem to want me here?? now, that might or might not affect bargnani (probably not), but again, why create waves when you dont need to...its stupid, im sorry to say...

James makes me laugh. I wouldn't mind having him back as two gaurd, but we aren't gonna beat that Dallas offer. Good luck Mike.
