Seeing as they gave up Rudy Gay to get the guy, I'm assuming that the asking price for him would be high, as high as Carroll Dawson was on draft night perhaps.

Houston dealt Rudy Gay for Shane. BC said he was looking around for another lottery pick but Charlie was the price. I'm sure if the Rockets wanted Mike James that bad they would have just sent us the 8th and filler in the first place.

Re: Poll: Who do you want to acquire?
larry hughes sticks out amongst the rest. the only knock against him is the injury problems, but i love what he does on D.

Re: Poll: Who do you want to acquire?
I don't see how the Cavs would want, or even be able to trade Hughes at this point. Being more realistic, I think Fred Jones would be a great fit here in Toronto.

Re: Poll: Who do you want to acquire?
I dont see the Cavs giving up Hughes after one year. They couldve gone all the way if he was healthy, so i see them giving hughes another year.

Re: Poll: Who do you want to acquire?
Fred Jones has been largely unimpressive in his NBA career.
Sort of like Boris Diaw.
(until last season)

Re: Poll: Who do you want to acquire?
For whatever reason I think the player we're looking at isn't somebody we'd expect.

Re: Poll: Who do you want to acquire?
um IF theres no trade not listed...
al harrington isnt horrible...could replace villi.... not great on D.... i would really liek the marquis daniels trade, at sg i think he can defend well & slash aswell as pass.
otherwise, KEEP mike james and play him at sg

I wasnt asked to deabte the positives and negatives of him. I would still take him in a heart beat and i cant for a second believe you wouldnt.
ford, mo, hughes, bosh, bargnani < given time that team would be crazy good

If I only had so much cash to spend, as is the case with our GM, I wouldn't want him. Believe it.
50, 50, 32, 50, 73, 67, 61, 61, 36 - Those are his games played per season, Notice only one year of more than 70 games played.
If there is one player who fits the definition of injury prone, it's this guy.
I'd rather have a Toyota than a Mercedes if the Mercedes is going to be in the shop 3 days a week.

I could walk three days a week.
But you make a good point.
Where did the Hughes idea come from anyways? I don't want to trade away more of our youth to get a player like him in return.

Re: Poll: Who do you want to acquire?
Ray Allen or Pierce but that is unlikely so I'll say Al Harrington.

Re: Poll: Who do you want to acquire?
we'll get a player from Texas (most likely Houston), thats where James wants to go, and houston wants him. But dallas is always an option.
