Poll: Who do you want to acquire?
Ray Ray and Pierce are out of the question since we're keeping Bosh, Bargnani, and Ford around.
Listed are free agent candidates and sign-and-trade scenarios with the four teams that have shown interest in Mike James: Rockets, Wolves, Mavs, and Cavs.
Keep in mind the price of acquiring players like Harrington, Wells, and Hughes. Don't forget injury history (ie. Hughes) or attitude problems (ie. Wells).
Who would you like the Raptors to acquire?

I like the idea of Hedo if there is any truth to those rumours, it's hard to say, but that guy on the other board has been right about a whole lot of stuff lately.
I don't know what happened to Colangelo wanting to bring over Roko but I like the idea of him in the backcourt over a lot of other guys being talked about (House, Murray, Bogans, etc).
Butler would be a nice pickup at the right price, his d is good and he can really light it up from deep. I'd much rather have him than Jefferies who really only got talked about during that one series, remind you of another JJ from last season?

I am looking at that bunch and am trying to figure out who the best fit would be...I just don't see the shooter I think we need....not a one dimentional shooter but some one who can combine a solid spot up shot with a slashing game.
What kind of shooter is Fred Jones?
Jeffries is a great size at the 3...he is not a 2...can he shoot at all?

Jefferies and Jones are both horrible shooters. With James and Villanueva gone, I think it would be wise to pick up at least one capable shooter.
I'm puzzled as to how Jefferies is going to be able to parlay 7 pts, 5 rebounds and horrible shooting into a $6 or $7 million contract. I know his defence is GOOD, but if it was GREAT why wasn't this guy's name on anyone's lips before the Cavs series?
