As far as I know the max raises we can offer are 8% per annum.

That would mean his contract starts at closer to $4M than to $3M. Also tops out at less than $5M.

Dunno if this is a good signing. We'll see.

06/07 -- $3.7M
07/08 -- $4.0M

No, but Patrick O'Byrant and Sene Sear aren't two of the top ten players not in the NBA.

The draft is much more about potential then it is about getting the best players into the league.

Of all the players in the world not playing in the NBA, Garbajosa would be up there on a list of best ones.

I like the signing, it addresses the Raps biggest need, getting more talented.
