James looking hard at Minny
http://www.twincities.com/mld/twinci...l/14982905.htm
I wonder if BC can persuade a 3rd team to get involved.
Does MIN, HOU or DAL have anything that anyone would want?

Re: James looking hard at Minny
Only player I'd be interested in on Minni would be Ricky Davis.

A sign and trade would be nice, Ricky Davis would looks good in a Raps uni, and if thats not the case, then get a package including Ndudi Ebi?

They waived Ebi, they don't have his rights anymore. Not sure why you would want him so much anyways.

Well if they waived him, then I don't really want him. I just remember when he came into the league, he seemed to have alot of potential. But I guess he was just one of those HS'ers with no real game caught in the hype machine of the NBA draft.
Seemed to have a nice frame and athleticism for the SF/Wing position.
So... Ricky Davis it is then...

Re: James looking hard at Minny
I think minny is in a bit of a rebuilding stage and would be more interested in letting go of ricky than any young player

KG wants vets, doesnt want young players (unless theyre better than the vets replacing them obviously) and we all know KG practically runs the show in Minny's front office these days

Re: James looking hard at Minny
i doubt any s&t's with those teams. i'd be surprised.
but one thing that really wouldn't make sense is minnesota- they're well over the cap (garnett's well over the cap), so they'd presumably be able to offer their 06 mle. but if houston already offered the same, what would really appeal mike to minnesota? i guess he's thinking term, maybe an extra year. otherwise minnesota would be in the worst position to acquire him.
so you can't help but start considering s&t's if the wolves are willing to use their exception and pay him 'market value', but what would they have for us? legitimately nothing, imo. strange story all-around. and babcock striking a deal with colangelo would be especially awkward.
i don't buy it.
peace

Re: James looking hard at Minny
Possible mega 3-way trade between TORONTO-MINNESOTA-BOSTON???
boston would end up getting KG
Minny- PP, Mike Jammmes,
TO- Tony Allen?
Thats the basics...obviously there would haev to be alto more involved to make the trade work out

Re: James looking hard at Minny
Raptors may not help any of the teams if they can't help Raptors to improve.
Prepare for direct offer...............
